-The Storyteller-

-The Storyteller-

So am in my late twenties and i am still not married...Big Deal! No, am serious its really a big deal...

In Nigeria, a girl who is my age and is unmarried is perceived as a reject. Most guys are wary of her because they honestly think that if she is unmarried at this age then there must be something wrong with her.

It makes absolute sense to them because who wont want to marry a totally awesome lady?

Right?

Well, have they thought about it that this totally awesome lady-not referring to self- may not be totally ready-prepared-for the "forever do us part" vow yet..Huh, have they? Guess not...

Being ready -prepared- has nothing to do with age and success in most endeavours happens when preparation meets opportunity.

So, at the receiving end you are seen as desperate, old and unwanted. Terrible qualities that shouldn't even be associated with a human being much less a woman. But that is the sad reality in which our society forces us to believe that the old ones are a cast away and the young ones well, they really have no sympathy on older girls because their own thoughts are "what did you do with your youth?" In a weird way, they are right and wrong at the same time.

But come to think of it...That's the big question, what exactly did i do with my youth that made me so engrossed that i didn't hook -a term used to signify marriage-a guy to myself before now?

Well, honesty there is no justification for my being unmarried at this age. I won't say something petty like "I was hurt by the man i thought i was going to marry" or saying something awkward like "I was too busy building a career".

Instead, i will talk about how awesome a single lady in her late twenties or thirties can be....This post in my head was just like writing something not just for the sake of writing anything but writing because I feel like a victim trapped in this season that I cant control but I am still supposed to make the best of...  This is most definitely not going to end up like a motivational post or a self esteem boost. This is one write up that has taken me one week to write, simply because i want to look back at this when... "IF" i eventually get married and be extremely proud of myself.

I believe that we all have our destinies to fulfill and they are very different from the next person. That is why i don't agree with people's ideologies when they state that a woman's destiny must be tied to a man. For the sake of procreation, maybe, but not in all cases. Some women have ended up in abusive marriages that have led to their demise, will we say the same applies to them?

I honestly believe marriage is a very good thing and aspire to be a bride someday but until that day can the society just take a backseat and let their single sisters breath some fresh air???

Well, i just believe that a woman is beautiful and purposeful with or without a man. I have been doing things i might never get the chance to do when i eventually get married; like get more education, start a business, go out and spoil myself rotten...To mention a few..lol

Biblical understanding is very important for a  young lady at this age. You must seek the word of God and nothing else so that you are not fed with the world's opinion of you but instead you have a perfect understanding of God's opinion of you. He sees you as better than those married because your concentration is not divided. You are a better vessel to be used because your responsibilities are fewer and you have more time in your hands for extra activities. He calls you blessed and doesn't think of you as desperate or not favored. He wants you to know constantly that His thoughts for you are of good and not evil so if you are not yet married...Pish-posh...

Whether you are married or not, trust me, the society will always have their own opinion of you. It never stops...First they want you educated, then they check if you came out well or not, then they want you married, then they check whether you have children or not. Finally, they want you successful, then they check whether you achieved that alive or not.

In other words, if you start living your life taking notes of what the society calls you or what they think of you or how they treat you, you had better get ready of live a life of misery;constantly living up to the world's expectation of you.

I have always wanted to be different but i have my insecurities too, i must admit. Most times i think i will be lucky if a man eventually marries me, with my extremely independent nature and carefree attitude towards relationships, it will take God's intervention for a man to seriously admit he will not withstanding want to spend the rest of his life with me.

Those insecurities does not and cannot change the fact that i know i am blessed no matter what happens and i know God is still good no matter how i turn out to be. So those two truths is what has and will keep me going whenever the going gets tough...I just keep going.

Finally, to all other single ladies out there, you are wonderfully and fearfully made. Don't ever forget that, dust off whatever remnants you have of your past and look into the future with your shoulders held high. Be proud of who you are or what you have become and mostly be extremely thankful you are alive...That is a sure sign of hope.

Let that hope be built on nothing else but Jesus' blood and righteousness, don't ever trust in what people say but wholly lean on Jesus' name. He has never failed and He won't start with you. Your destiny will come to past...I am so certain it will.

Until then, be awesome...Plus share the word and shine your light.

Note to future self: You were totally awesome at this age, be sure to remain awesome. xoxo

MY LOVE CONFESSION

                    MY LOVE CONFESSION

There are so many things I would have loved to write concerning love...But it's really not my favourite subject so I have tried hard to avoid writing about it. The more I tried not write about it, the more I have been put in awkward situations where love is the only subject there is to write about.

So, in my own little way, I want to write about love.

Funny, this is the first post this year...I think I am still allowed to write <Happy New Year> my dear readers, we shall have a great year ahead I am so sure we will....I am pretty excited about writing again and writing about love. I remember when I wrote about the heartbreak hotel which made its debut on tech360ng.com, people asked a lot of personal questions wanting to really know if it was really my experience or if it was just creative writing on my own part. I didn't respond to any of their questions but I think I am ready to answer those questions now, and the obvious answer is Yes. I had my heart broken into shreds and I had to take months off to put the pieces back together.

The most interesting detail about that whole experience was that, I didn't even know I was in love until I was heart broken. I confess to taking the relationship for granted but when it came to an abrupt end, I realized what I had just lost but it was already gone and letting go was the most painful part. I puffed and stuffed whatever I could get my hands in just to  ease the pain, but it won't just go away. So I decided to write about it and it felt so good that it has become one of my most creative write-up ever.

Let us not dwell in the past shall we, today, I write about love, not heartbreak.

That feeling that you don't ever want to go away towards someone that you are so angry at but at the same time you don't know how to live without them.

I am currently at a place where I am fully aware of the place of love in my daily life. Before now, I was just existing, doing the things I had to do every day to get by. I didn't look forward to anything, didn't have any extra drama in my life, nothing was exciting, no one was interesting enough and I just thought my life was where I wanted it to be. No troubles, no drama, nothing!

But then things changed when I started to get a little extracurricular activity from this boy whom I have had a crush for in years. I was excited about this new activity that wasn't the norm, but that was all it was at first....Excitement...Until, when I would hurry to charge my battery just because I didn't want any interruptions when am chatting with him or the fact that I change my itinerary just so it would fit into his plans.

As independent as I would like to see myself, I admit that I have become totally dependent on those few little moments I have with him. This time is a little different unlike others, I am extremely aware of the changes I am feeling and I am totally not taking him for granted.

He, on the other hand, has known me for 8 years now and is also new to this love thing. So, he hides his feelings as much as he can but that is what i have realized is the reason I am falling in love with him. Others were so opened to tell me how they felt but their actions spoke differently, but he, he hardly tells me anything, but his actions speak volumes.

Love is what makes the heart healthy because its happy most times. We giggle at the most stupid things and apologise to nothing, in particular.

There are silent times when we have so many hate words to say to each other but would rather be quiet than speak words that we would eventually regret. The silence treatment is not too healthy though, but those are issues that we are trying to deal with because the longest we have gone without talking to each other is over one month.

*Breathes in heavily* I was right about one thing when I wrote about the heartbreak hotel, don't ever take the hurt out of that hotel. Let it go and  start again, I had to practise what I preached and one year after I am back to write that your heart will love again, breath again and fix itself back to its initial state. You just have to forgive yourself and move on.

All my life I have known that love is the one thing that gives complete happiness, happiness should not be comprised for anything. I have had a lot of love challenges, but I have pulled through everyone just by asking Christ to help me out. Especially when it hurts so bad I am always scared that that feeling won't go away. I fear turning bitter and despising the person who put me in that situation but then when am at my lowest point, I just ask Christ to take the pain away. At first it feels like nothing happens, after a while, as the days go by, I see that it becomes easier to breath, easier to sleep and easier to laugh again.

So find what makes you happy and hold on to it for as long as you can. Remember, that when it comes to love, there is no compromise.

If you are in love, please don't take it for granted. Make your actions speak more than the words you will ever utter. If you haven't found love yet, don't you worry, you will find it as long as you stay optimistic and remain opened to the possibility...It will happen.

Time to Move On - Poetry

I Forgive Myself

For the bad choices, I have made
The lost opportunities, broken dreams and all the wrong impressions in people's mind i have laid

I Forgive Myself

For all the times, I gave up easily
The relationships, jobs, ideas, people, all the boys i never loved equally

I Forgive Myself

For the pain I cause
The malice, deceit, lies, trauma and wrong values I applause

I Forgive Myself

As I totally admit that I have been wrong
That's the reason I gave my life to Christ, He is gradually making me a better person as long as I stay strong.

I forgave Myself

When I Found out through the Bible that Jesus Christ had paid the price already through death and reconciled me all to Himself

I am forgiven                                              -dadadupeola

Mini Me - Poetry

His eyes were blood red from the tears he cried

He shouldn't be seen like this, to stop crying he tried.

To no avail,

The letter he had gotten started all this, sent through his mail.

He didn't know he still loved him,

His father who had made him all proper and prim.

The moments they shared together flashed before his eyes,

He never thought this day would come, oh how time flies.

The last words he said to his dad was what pained him the most,

His cries got even louder as he wished he could send back an "Am sorry' through the same post.

It was too late though, his father was long gone,

He remembered the fight with his child that morning, took his keys, ran towards the door, held the child tight in his arm at school and wept saying "I am so sorry Son" -dadadupeola

Mama Toni - Poetry

I want my mummy,

I called out as I touched my aching tummy.

I haven't seen her in years,

I yell out as I wipe away my tears.

I miss her touch,

The way she tells me constantly that she loves me so much.

Her endless prayers for me,

Always nudging my very existence, a better person to be.

Has anyone seen my mother?

If you haven't, don't speak, please don't bother.

Living without her is becoming unbearable,

She gave me life damn it! she is totally irreplaceable.

Go get my mama,

she is somewhere distant, somewhere in her mind all alone.

Tell her, it's her precious little nana,

Who needs her and says its okay to finally come home

The Imperfect Reflection - Poetry

She can’t remember when last she went on her knees,

But she can’t ever forget to bend in other to wear her collection of pinkbottom heels.

She doesn’t speak in tongues anymore,

But the latest gossip in town she pours out of her mouth and much more.

She won’t even reverence His name.

Jesus Christ! She calls out as she makes love with a married man, no guilt or shame.

Where did she put her bible?

Her chequebook, gossip magazines and android phones are all near her and reachable.

It doesn’t mean she doesn’t go to church,

Oh no, she never ever misses a service, never late as much.

So why is she even a subject?

Don’t we have anything to do other than make her the target?

We have no idea how unfair life has been.

She will live her life the way she pleases, don’t you judge her that’s just mean.

But recently she noticed she hardly recognizes herself,

Oh wait, I am talking about the girl in the mirror... I am talking about myself?

My Inspiration - Poetry

The Lord Inspires me,

Helps me to be the best I can be.

Everyday life brings its challenges all the way,

But I know I have a superhero,

Someone who will help save the day.

He turns those challenges to zero.

He is alpha Omega,

The One who was, who is and will always be... My Oga

No matter what lies ahead,

I am no longer afraid, satan hope you have heard.

The Lord truly is my inspiration,

This simple writing is a sure confirmation.

Francesca Battistelli - When The Crazy Kicks In (Official Music Video)

I totally relate with this song from Francesca. It is extremely difficult to find time for Christ these days, putting Him in our busy schedule daily...before crazy kicks in... But no matter how hectic our day looks, starting it with Christ is the best way to open our gift...the "present" day... making the day much more rewarding... Yaay!

-The wisdom to see freedom isn’t free-

-The wisdom to see freedom isn’t free-

Growing up in Africa, one thing that i know my people have fought for all their lives is freedom. Despite the fact that we celebrated our 54th independence day on the 1st of October just to acknowledge the fact that we have been set free, we had hand bands, phone cases, keychains, stickers bearing the word freedom just to buttress that point that we are no longer slaves.

The sad truth is that, freedom has never been free for us. Soldiers, officers, civilians, men, women, children and animals can bear this witness as they have all paid dearly the price of slavery with their lives.

We still patiently wait for the return of more than 200 girls abducted over five months ago in Nigeria. The horrid memories they will have even after they are eventually set free from their abductors may enslave them in other ways probably worse than they currently are.

Freedom is not free...

Jesus Christ wanted to set us free, as we had been enslaved by sin. He being the all knowing acknowledged the fact that a price must be paid for our freedom. That price was His life; He died so that we can live...

So if Jesus could do it, then we can do it too...Pay it forward, pass it on....Parents should be willing to pay the price for their children, Government should be willing to pay the price for its citizens...

What is the payment for freedom?Sacrifice...But love is the key ingredient that provokes the act of sacrifice; Jesus loves us so much that he didn’t mind dying on our behalf to set us free.

The wages for freedom is sacrifice...But sacrifice can only suffice when there is love...When you see an enslaved nation, you see a nation that lacks love. Slavery can and will be stopped when we stop preaching religion and start preaching love. Freedom will be achieved when we stop playing politics and start showing love.

Love is the exchange value and it is absolutely free...I haven’t done much to stop slavery; I don’t even know if I can make that sacrifice myself...I must be honest. But my heart bleeds out when I see injustice or slavery, I always wish I could do something and at the same time I get scared that I might regret my actions if I do.

Probably get arrested for speaking up or get hated for standing in the gap for someone or even get killed for setting someone else free...But the Lord hasn’t given me the spirit of fear but that of love and of a sound mind so I gladly proclaim that I am no longer afraid of the consequences...

I am a Human Right Activist for those in slavery...

I now have wisdom, knowledge and understanding that FREEDOM ISNT FREE, THE WAGES OF FREEDOM IS SACRIFICE AND LOVE IS THE EXCHANGE VALUE... #BringBackOurGirls #ShineYourLight #SpreadTheWord

-IN MEMORY OF SEPTEMBER 11-

            -IN MEMORY OF SEPTEMBER 11-

Okay!okay! So it was my birthday 6days ago...Yes, I was born on september 11 and I think it’s not a coincidence that I have to always celebrate life the day in history most people remember lives....September to Remember

A quick biography: It all happened more than 20years ago, my mum and dad were recovering from the escapade of having two children back to back with only 6months in between them. My mum had a miscarriage and everyone thought it was good news because my dad didn’t want more children.

So my mummy assumed that was the end of her child bearing days only for her to feel feverish one beautiful morning in July, 7months after her miscarriage. She went straight to the hospital and demanded to know what was wrong with her.I am pretty sure she would have being more relieved if they had told her she had a disease compared to the news she got about being 7months pregnant with a girl child.

She was in shock for most of that day. Not only because she wondered how possible it was that she didn’t even feel a thing throughout the seven months. Her tummy didn’t grow unusually big, no signs at all...Her major worry was how she was going to tell my daddy she was 7months pregnant and didn’t know about it until that day.

Oh Well, just like she expected...My daddy threw a fist. Trust me my daddy turned out to be the best dad in the world. I can just imagine what that meant to him at the moment. He was in total despair, thinking of the financial implication of the news he had just heard.

So he did what seemed right at that moment, he sent my mum packing from the house and claimed the child wasn’t his.
My mummy headed for her mum’s place-my grandma- and stayed there until I was one year old.

I know...That long? Yes, not until I was the carbon copy of my daddy did he believe that I was real.My mummy always says that I have never given her problems, not during pregnancy or at birth...The story of my birth is much more entertaining, I don’t mind sharing it with you.

On a faithful Thursday morning on the 11th of September so many years ago...Yes, I am that old... My mummy who was nine months and heavily pregnant with a female child wanted to use the toilet like she usually does every time she was pressed. But this time was different. I slipped out of her instead of the urine...hehehehe

To God be the glory my mummy was observant enough to notice that something was slipping out of her so she moved slightly away from the toilet bowl and the baby-That’s me- slid perfectly into her arms.

She had to call the neighbours from the bathroom for help in cutting the umbilical cord and cleaning for the child who she claimed was so beautiful, science could not explain the mystery of me not having any deformities due to lack of medications in my early years.

Everybody has a story to tell. Everything happens for a reason, I was preserved for a reason. A miracle child, I was called but I turned out to be ordinary...no special powers attached to this body.

The only thing different in me is that I met God along the way, that changed my status from ordinary to extra ordinary. He was the one that preserved me in the first place because He had a purpose for me. All I had to do was acknowledge that He is God and bam! My purpose was activated once more.

I am very delightful that God has deemed me fit to be alive today as everyday is a blessing, a present underserved if not for grace. I am so sorry that such a tragedy happened on that very day in 2001 but we must always remember that everything has a purpose, we must ask God for wisdom to be aligned to His purpose/will for our lives and accept it as good and not evil...This is tough to understand but as we grow in the Christain faith we will ask ourselves that will we only accept good from God and not bad. What we see as bad in our eyes to God might be the best thing.

So as long as He gives me life, I will continually talk about Him and try my best in spreading the word and shining the light. #PraiseGod

-THE VICTORY PRICE-

        -THE VICTORY PRICE-

The anticipation is high as the crowd stare to see what and how it would all go down. They have no idea of the minutes, hours, weeks and months of hard work that has been put into place before the eventful day.

They are lined up in a roll, waiting for the whistle to go off. The first step that determines the end, the sweat rushing down ones pores as you race over the track; the complete silence around you when the whistle does go off, as everything around you becomes a silhouette. You can’t hear the cheering of the crowd or your heart pounding in your chest box...It all becomes bleak
Everything goes dark for awhile as your only goal is to get to the finish line first. Every runner has his own strategy, its either you are slow at the beginning and gain pace as you progress or you are fast at the beginning and slow down as you reach the finish line. Whatever your plans maybe, the goal is to get to the finish line and win that victory price.

The book of revelations explains to us in a remarkable story how Jesus revealed things to John through an angel. John was at that time incarcerated just because he proclaimed the word of God and the truth revealed by Jesus the Messiah. He tells us how on the Lord’s Day the spirit took him and he heard a loud voice which sounded like a trumpet speaking behind him. Giving us a vivid description of Christ; a human being standing among seven gold lamp stands wearing a robe that reached His feet and a gold band around His chest. His hair was white as wool or snow, His eyes blazed like fire, His feet shone like brass that has been refined and polished and his voice sounded like a roaring waterfall.
He held seven stars in His right hand and a sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth...which symbolized something. He eventually told John what the seven lamp stand and the seven stars stood for: they symbolize the seven angels and the seven churches.

The victory price awaits those that persevere; holding up till they reach the finish line. Never giving up despite the challenges they might encounter during the race. The huddles and the strain, the inability to breathe normally and the competition they must conquer.

This is good news for those that may ask questions just like the disciple asked Jesus “what is in it for me”. The victory price is worth more than silver or gold, it sounds more promising than a medal or a trophy.

To Ephesus: He will give the right to eat the fruit of the tree of life that grows in the garden of God.

To Smyrna: They will not be hurt by the second death

To Pergamum: He will give the hidden manna and give each of them a white stone on which is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.

To Thyatira: He will give the same authority that He received from His father. He will give them authority over nations to rule them with an iron rod and break them to pieces like clay pots. He will also give them a morning star

To Sardis: They will be clothed in white, He will not remove their names in the book of the living and in the presence of His father and of His angels He will declare openly that they belong to Him.

To Laodicea; he will give the right to sit beside him on His throne, just as he has been victorious and now sit by His Father on His throne.

To Philadelphia: They will be pillars in the temple of His God and they will never leave it. He will write the name of His God and the name of the city of His God, the new Jerusalem which will come down out of heaven from His God. He will also write on them His new name.

Let him that have hears, then, listen...Spread the word, shine the light, the victory price awaits.

WHY???

WHY?

Its 5pm on Monday the 18th of August 2014 and I just stare at a blank screen because I really don’t know what to write. There is so much to be written but the words are not just coming to my mind. The abduction of over 200 hundred girls in Chibok Nigeria is now over 100 days old and they haven’t been released, the outbreak of the Ebola virus is rocking the country and there is panic everywhere.

I sit and stare with nothing to write but with a lot of questions to ask, what is the role of a Christian at times like these? What can I do? In the midst of crisis the only way forward is to try and be calm,we need help.
There is chaos all around how do you know where to go? We need direction.
What content must you release out there? Is it that of fear or courage or simply just stay quiet and pretend that it’s not happening,we need understanding

I have thought deeply about what to write if I am ever going to talk about the insurgencies in the country, I have almost tried to avoid writing about it praying that it will just pass. Newsflash! It hasn't pass, it has even gotten worse.

The perfect example that comes to my mind is that of Jesus, He knew His time was near and He will soon be killed by the same people He came to die for. He knew what lay ahead of Him wasn't going to be pleasant, He knew He was going to be betrayed beaten, hung, nailed and left to die. He knew all these things but still persevered. The Lord’s Will was what was most important to him than anything else.

That was when it hit me; “the Lord’s will” is what is most important. In every situation, at all times, we must seek that His will be done.
If we do not know His will, His Spirit is there to guide us and align us to His exact will for our lives. That spirit is the help we need, the direction we deserve and the understanding we yearn for.

The Lord’s will for Jesus was for Him to come and die for our sins. Note that there was a purpose. No matter how hard this was for Jesus to bear, trust me, it got really tough. Jesus still maintained that God’s will is greater than His desires. So if the most unpleasant happens and it is the Lord’s will, then let it be. Easy for me to say right!

Was it fair that Jesus had to be stoned, hung, nailed and killed? No, it wasn't...But it was the Lord’s will for it to happen like that. Did his mother, his disciples and all believers at that time think it was pleasant for their saviour to be killed like an animal? No, I am sure they felt so bitter, they might have even asked God questions like “why did He allow something that gruesome happen to Christ” just like we ask questions like” why were those girls abducted” or “why has the Ebola virus come into the country” or “why can’t I have children” or “why am I so poor” or “why did my love one have to die”.

Well, I am not writing to give answers to the entire “why” questions. I am writing to point out the place of a Christian when the entire “why” questions pop up.

Eventually, if Christ had not died like an animal-stripped, betrayed, beaten, nailed and left to die. Our sins would not have been forgiven. There will be no one worthy to break the seal on the last day, no one fit to seat at the right hand of God the Father and solicit on our behalf as the high priest. We would have been lost to sin eternally, no forgiveness, no redemption. Nothing!

But that wasn't God’s will, God’s will was for us to be saved and if that meant releasing His only begotten son to come as a man and die like an animal. Then so be it!
Christians have to know that they must carry their cross if they intend to follow Christ, there are no promises of pleasantries, no assurance of perfection and no guarantee that their lives won’t go through trials and tribulation.

The good news is that God’s Will eventually gives an expected end. His thoughts for us are always that of good and not of evil. He knows what is best for us because He created us and formed us in His own image and likeness. He knows our future; He will never allow anything to happen that is not aligned with His will.
That is the place of a Christian at times like these, always asking that the Lord’s will be done in every situation. Always praying that the Holy Spirit be with us to help, direct and give us understanding.

At times like these we must be sensitive about the words that come out of our mouths.  If they are not words of hope, they shouldn't be spoken at all...

Spread the word! Shine the light

Heart Break Hotel -My Memoir

Welcome everyone! This is the place where we all go to for solace. Especially when our hearts has been sliced into two by someone we loved so dearly we didn't even see the knife coming...Traitor!
Not everyone has been to this hotel though; I call them the lucky few. Or should I call it grace? I really don’t know where to classify them under and I don’t care either because this write up is not for miss-i–have-never-been-heartbroken-before... raised eyebrows. Instead, this write up is for all those that have been betrayed, lied to, cheated on, insulted, abused, violated and left to lick up all these wounds all by themselves. If you fit in this category, please read on my dear.

I am writing this piece because i have logged in this place for quite a number of times, I know almost every route in getting here and have visited almost all the rooms it has in it...Let me share a little with you because now we are best friends as we have something in common that binds us together.

My first experience was when I was cheated on. My goodness, all hell broke loose as I felt so betrayed, it cut deep into my self esteem and left me scarred for a very long time so I really thought that that was the worst that could ever happen... Bla! I was naive.Little did I know that cheating was just the tip of it, the next would be emotional abuse. The person in question used my emotions to insult me so deeply that I cry myself to sleep most nights afterwards because he made me feel like a weakling and worthless. But that was no match for the third time I visited the heartbreak hotel, this time the person involved was so manipulating, I almost didn't think for myself the whole time we dated. It was just one roller coaster ride to another, from boys not picking up my calls anymore after an awesome date out to boys just avoiding me completely after we have both concluded that we liked each other.

Moving from one bad experience to another drove me deep into this hotel that an inscription of my name will almost be seen on every wall and bathroom inclusive...that was where I do most of my crying.

I have come to realize and have concluded with my little but painful experiences that killing oneself or driving a knife through ones wrist or running mad...which is the craziest most popular tactics among African's queens...ARE NOT JUST WORTH IT!

Believe me; you have to get to that point where you decide never again to allow people that are hateful to turn you on yourself. You have to be strong, wave the dust off your shoulder by taking as long as you want to heal, cry it all out as it will help you feel better. Find something you love and do it till it bores you out...For me its writing. You could also find someone random you can tell it all to that doesn't know you enough to judge you or someone who knows you better than you know yourself and who will heal you from the inside out...That's Jesus. This is all part of the healing process, the more you talk about it the better you heal.

Finally, look beautiful as always. Don’t ever let you go. You have to be hopeful and be prepared for the next relationship because not all will be bad; some will turn out good or great. Therefore, you have to be prepared for it when it comes and not give any excuses not to let it happen.

The heart break hotel is a place to spend the night not all day, so by morning, ensure you check out of there as soon as you wake up! Once you walk out of its doors, please leave your past behind as much as possible and breath the fresh air of the future because no matter what happens, remember that nights have never ever lasted for eternity, it will always give way to the mornings. So take advantage of this fact and spread the word, shine your light because you are beautiful....

Yours truly,
